Revolution in Indian Judiciary for adoption of Technology.

Is it a time of revolution in indian judiciary for adoption of technology of documentautomation and encouraging use of laptops instead of papers ?

A Lawyers work being related to papers and books we have to carry a lot many heavy briefs at the time of attending matters along with carrying significant responsibilities on behalf of clients . The sizes of case briefs increase as per hierarchy of courts you appear before. Naturally more stages in courts more papers .
When we take the oath to support Clients , we definitely take all the facts and supporting of evidence papers to protect our clients . It becomes are implied duty to take care of all the documents and also a duty to carry them along in court whenever the hearing is scheduled. Walking with briefs between courts premises to and fro is a difficult job specially in rains. Since we have taken the oath to protect clients, protecting papers becomes very important. I have often prayed to have more hands then just two.

Feel it is about the time to bring about a revolution in judiciary by allowing to bring laptops inside the courtroom instead of trollies of papers and supporting document automation for all the circumstances and needs wherever possible. There can be use of microsoftedge dictation programmes instead of stenographer and typists wherever possible. documentation searches will be possible at finger tips instead of shuffling between papers. The Digital Data can never go missing or damaged or drench with rain water. If in the case it happens that witness called upon is very old or physically challenged, the statements can be recorded by the same from home.

If this revolution begins, it will make the jobs of Lawyers , Counsels and Judges a lot more easier. We would definitely like to live in the abovementioned revolutionized legal world .
What are your thoughts my dear Colleagues ?
